Easier Integration!

EncounterWorks Cloud EMR makes integration much easier than client/server installations. Installation is performed by our support team in our datacenter while you continue your day to day business uninterrupted. Once the installation has been completed the configuration can begin. Complete configuration can be accomplished in as little as a week compared to some EMR products which can take months.

The slow costly way.

In days past, before your EMR could be installed, you first had to obtain a server and have it installed at your location. Once your server was in place the EMR vendor would show up to install the EMR software on the sever and all of your PCs. This is still the process for some EMR products and can take up to 60 days to complete the installation. With EncounterWorks this step takes about 24 hours.

Our Cloud EMR can shave 1-2 months off of your implementation time line. There is absolutely no hardware or software to install at your location so you don't have to go shopping and spend a lot of money. EMR server hardware is already built and ready for configuration in our highly redundant data center. All of the installation and configuration is performed by professionals here at the datacenter with no impact to your practice work flow during this time.

How do we speed up integrations?

Datacenter Automation - When you sign-up for EncounterWorks online our systems automatically begins configuring the servers needed to run your EMR. There are no servers to order and install at your location. Within 20 minutes the servers are ready for your EMR to be installed. Installation of the EMR is usually completed within 24 hours and ready for configuration. You will receive emails shortly after sign-up.
Standard Presets - Each EMR comes pre-configured with the basic necessities to reduce configuration time.
Preconfigured Modules - The lab module comes preloaded with standard procedures, ICD9 codes are preloaded, and generic email templates and statements are ready for use.
Preloaded Templates & Forms- Each EMR comes preloaded with some basic clinical templates and interactive forms so that your practice can begin providing services quickly.

Configuration

Once the servers have been configured and the EMR software installed it will be ready for configuration. Configuration consist of adding users, pharmacies, patients, standard procedures, fees, etc. With EncounterWorks there are two ways to accomplish configuration;

Self Configuration

To alleviate some of the upfront cost EncounterWorks will allow you to designate someone on your staff to perform the configuration. This person will be provided with a very extensive Administration Manual providing step by step instructions along with a series of advanced video tutorials.

Note: You may purchase "Professional Configuration" if your staff has troubles with the "Self Install option but please note that your install will be completely erased and a clean configuration performed.

Professional Configuration

Our integration team will perform the complete configuration for you. Our configuration team has the experiance to customize your system much faster than your internal staff so you can go-live as soon as possible. A certified billing specialist will work with your practice to make sure optimal billing procedures are understood.

Note: If at all possible we recommend that you select the "Professional Configuration" option to avoid mis-configurations and inconsistent data.

Training

Once the system is installed & configured it's then time to train your staff. Here we give you two options as well.

Self Training

All clients receive access to our extensive training library which provides on demand user guides and video tutorials. The videos are designed to help you learn the system and may be revisited any time a user feels the need to strengthen a skill. This is also a good resource for new employee training. Of course, you can supplement your own self training with our premium training services if you need an extra boost.

Premium Training

Premium Training can be requested for initial training (before go-live) or any time afterward that you need some expert training. We offer training by the hour and by the day.

Note: Your EMR implementation will only be as good as the training you REQUIRE. We suggest organized training classes with mandatory attendance for everyone (including providers) before you allow your system to go-live for production.

Go-Live

Once you are confident in your skills with EncounterWorks you can go-live and begin providing services using the system.
